First....I'm so very sorry that I dropped of the face of the planet there for a while. Life has been a little less than stable. Thankfully, within the next couple weeks I hope to have things back to a stable routine that will allow me to get back here, to my art, to friends, and all that jazz.

So update...

1) School is over for now, I'm taking a year off by my own choice so I can get myself out of a mental rut. I'm less than proud of the grades I've been pulling in the past semesters and this term has been by far the worst. I've realized that ever since one really bad term a couple years ago I've been on a steady downward spiral as far as grades go, I used to get A's and B's easy, in the past two years I've been lucky to pull a B much less an A and most of my grades are C's with the occasional D and F. Yeah...I'm not happy, but I'm not gonna drop out of college completely either. I will graduate, especially since I only have 8 more courses to go before I have my Bachelor's in Psych with an Art Minor.

So taking a little bit of a break from school until Summer 1 2010.

2) A few weeks ago I fried my laptop, or rather the monitor on it. I can hook it up to a desktop monitor and run it that way but we just packed up our extra monitor (reason for packing will be explained in a moment) so not going to access it that way. Luckily my entire hard drive has been saved on a CD, I am using my sister's laptop right now until I can afford to buy myself a new one, so I'm not going to upload anything onto this one. Unfortunately this means that for now the scans I had ready to be uploaded here are on that CD. I might just go ahead and take the time one day and scan them all onto the desktop here in Frisco and then upload from that computer.

3) I'm thinking I still owe some art, I haven't had a chance to look back here just yet to see what I owe (*volpe-de-fuego I have not forgotten about your reference package, if you'd still like it let me know). I haven't been able to get ANY art done, my own included since school started. It just kinda sapped my artistic creativity, mainly because we had serious projects to work on in my Drawing 2 class that took up a lot of my artistic desire if you could call it that.

I'm getting things back on track here, no worries.

4) Another reason I've been scarce has been because we're in the process of packing up our lake house, the house I've lived in since June 1996. We're getting it ready to go on the market because in the next couple of years my dad and step-mom plan to retire. So the lake house is the first to go, and we've been packing everything we can to get it ready for an interior face lift. We're redoing the walls, repainting, reflooring and all that. So I've been busy helping pack for the past few weeks, thankfully my end is just about done, all I need to do now is go back and get Kaida and her tank and move them to Frisco, which will hopefully be done on Saturday.

5) Some good news, I believe I might have a job now. I go in tomorrow from 9am to 6pm as a kind of trial day. Hope it works out since it's at a place called Every Dog's Day, a doggie hotel, day spa, and daycare all in one. It looks like fun so I'm hoping it works out. Another reason I've been distracted lol, been applying for jobs.

So that's pretty much the gist, oh and I do have one confession to make lol...I have joined the mass of people who enjoy playing World of Warcraft. I admit there for a few months it was kind of my escape from school stress, however, now that I've played a bit gotten over the shiny newness of it, I'm better able to divide my time (before it was kinda school, homework, WoW and that was about it). I got my main to level 80 and have found a really awesome raiding guild and some really good friends, so now as I said, the shiny newness has worn off and I can dabble in WoW here and there and still get back to other things.

For anyone who is interested I play on Tortheldrin (my main realm) my main character is a female Tauren Hunter, Kaidamyst, with her trusty white wolf, Amaroc, and I'm a Harbinger (my guild). I have a few other toons on that realm but they're all lowbies right now, highest under Kaidamyst is my Blood Elf Death Knight, Tyoric and he's level 59 lol. I started playing this past January right as school started so I'm still a bit of a noob. My off realm is Turalyon and I only have one character there, a female Tauren druid who is level 14 ^^ (I have a real life friend who plays and that's his main realm). Yeah...WoW has been one of the few things that kept me sane these past few months, it was stress relief. For the Horde!

Anyway....all that aside, what I want people to know is that I'm steadily getting back into the groove of stable, less stressful life, and I'm thinking after a week or two (getting used to this job hopefully) I'll be able to get back into the flow of things and get back to my art and art that I owe people.

I'm sorry again I disappeared like that, I hope it won't happen again, at least not for a long while if it does. I'll try to make it up to those who have been waiting forever for owed art, not sure how just yet, but I'll think of something ^^ thank ya'll for being so patient
