Alright FINALLY it's done 
and here's to hoping I put it in the right category too 
This thing took me so long to get done! Well if you count that I had a change of ideas about halfway through my previous work.
This is my entry for the February 2008 MGC, and I hope this is cool, I mean technically I guess you could say that this is anime, but hey, anime are cartoons too! lol
So for those that don't know this is Duo Maxwell from Gundam Wing AC umm gone Gargoyle for this months contest! I was gonna toss a couple of my garg characters into the Avatar: The Last Airbender world, but then I had a feeling it'd be a popular idea, and after seeing *shinga's entry yeah I had a change of mind. But it works because I LOVED Gundam Wing back when it was on back before Adult Swim took over late night Cartoon Network, and well I still do!
And for those who are Gundam Wing savvy you'll know that this is his outfit from Endless Waltz, since I figured his priest's collar wouldn't show up with the beak and the pose he's in, and because I liked the black and red combo of this outfit.
Of course, Duo was my fav of the five Gundam Pilots, and he has a beak now for two reasons: 1) I SUCK big time at drawing people, especially when on a deadline, so yeah he's not a humanoid Garg for that one reason. Plus, I don't think I could have done poor Duo justice. 2) he just struck me as the type that would have a beak if he was a Garg, so eh good enough for me!
It was kinda fun figuring out what to do with him too, design wise, but man it took me around two weeks to get this done! Mainly because of school work and real life (raking leaves this past weekend) getting in the way and sapping most of my energy.
Anyway, I'm happy with him, had to do some MAJOR touching up in MSPaint through, since the red of his wings liked to bleed onto the white on his wings -_- should have tried my new Copic Alcohol paper, that'd have been fun! Especially since I'm happy with his overall pose and anatomy.
Well I hope ya'll like him as much as I do, now off to get him submitted to the MGC!

I've noticed a lot of artists prefer drawing BEAKED Gargoyles recently; is that a trend? What about flat-faced Gargs?
